Train up a child in the way he should go:and when he is old, he will not depart from it (Prov. 22:6)
Over the years, the Sunday School ministry remains a sustained arm of ministry to the residents of the community. Many children have passed through this ministry and some have remained and with the passage of time, have become dedicated young adults for the Lord and for the work of the ministry. The teaching of core Bible lessons and life applications of those lessons are delivered each week and the children are actively engaged in the lessons.
The children showcase their talents through dance, dramatic presentations or songs during the Sunday morning worship services. Through this ministry the foundations for faith development are laid and children are encouraged to exercise their faith in God.
The Sunday School Ministry is led by Pastor Yasmin Muirhead whose heart’s desire is to see the lives of the children transformed through the ministry. Pastor Yasmin is often seen stockpiling paraphernalia to engage students during the Sunday School lessons.
